| Besides feeling a little woozy at the grocery store, things are getting back to normal in my system.
Mac, of course, as he bounds back, is being precocious and cute, saying
things that seem new and adorable again. Scott was playing a video game
tonight and he did something on it, and Mac said, "Oh my gosh!" which
was too cute. He's still kind of feeling wary of feeling good, if you
know what I mean, and he's not making huge fusses yet. I put him to
both nap and bed and he just obliged like there was no other option.
LOL
I'm trying to do my upkeep on the house that I have started in my
"Spring Cleaning" fever. Since I have been either catering to a sick
child or being a sick one myself, it's been hard to do upkeep. I WON'T
let my hard work be demolished because of germs! LOL
I think we're skipping church tomorrow (I don't have anything to do and
we still need a day to get better here) so I will have some more time
to take care of business. My goal is to finish laundry and partially
clean my bedroom (though honestly if I just do laundry that will be
enough). We're watching About Schmidt tonight and trying to just
vegetate on the couch. I need to lay off the computer a bit more if I'm
going to get anything done. My goal is to be more assertive in my life
and get more done. Ha!

| If whining is indicative of Mac feeling better, he's 100% better today.
We're both feeling better, and hopefully the nausea is subsiding. We
slept on and off from 6 PM to 7:45 AM this morning, it was that
terrible fitful sleep. Plus, much to my utter dismay, the doctor
precribed a suppository for Mac to curb the nausea and help him sleep.
Yes, that was my favorite thing to do last night. Ugh. I felt so bad.
Today we are just resting and I'm trying to curb the whining that Mac
is now doing in full force. I think he feels he has two days' worth to
make up for. LOL I won't be doing too much, mostly laundry that I need
to clean now that the sickies are almost over. You know what the next
phase of the stomach flu is after the nausea, right? Yay. I'm so glad
that I have to change diapers still.

| A parenting thing that I can handle but don't like to deal with?
Throwing up. This is Mac's new symptom. Is it the medication
(amoxicillan?) or do we have the flu too? I feel nauseous separately of
Mac, so it might be a flu bug on top of our Strep. I feel so bad for
Mac, he just doesn't understand the concept of throwing up yet. I've
had to clean more couches, floors, clothes, pillows and selves to last
me a long, long time.
And that is my update.
